About this part
Premium industrial-grade strong-acid cation (SAC) exchange resin in sodium ($Na^+$) or hydrogen ($H^+$) form, for industrial boiler feedwater softeners and compatible demineralization trains. It exchanges scale-forming calcium ($Ca^{2+}$) and magnesium ($Mg^{2+}$) ions; treated-water quality depends on resin form, regeneration, pretreatment, and system design.
Key features
- High total exchange capacity (\ge 2.0 eq/L) ensuring prolonged softening cycles between regenerations
- Cross-linked polystyrene divinylbenzene matrix with high mechanical crush strength
- Uniform spherical bead size distribution minimizing pressure drop across softener vessel
- High resistance to osmotic shock and thermal degradation up to 120°C
- Rapid regeneration kinetics with standard sodium chloride (NaCl) industrial brine
Typical applications and wear
Boiler feedwater softeners, two-bed demineralizers, mixed bed polishers, and textile process water plants. Degradation is caused by chlorine oxidation, iron fouling, and osmotic bead attrition.
Compliance
Supports boiler-water treatment programs; final hardness and conductivity targets must be set by the boiler manufacturer, water-treatment design, and applicable operating requirements.
